Item Description
A tip-of-the-hat, to the past, when umbrellas were considered to be a very important part of everyone's wardrobe. And, as such, an umbella had to reflect the fashion viewpoint of its owner.
With this in mind, Joan Barrington, and her alter-ego, Barrington Brolly, have created a custom-made umbrella and donated it to the Rotary Auction fund-raiser. The umbrella was created, using components that Joan imported, from points across Europe.
The black metal-frame, has an automatic-open, and fiberglass ribs. Fiberglass ribs are known world-wide, for their strength, and endurance.
The dark-grey canopy, is made of rain-fabric, that Joan imported from England. And, coming from England, the fabric has a very distinctive "British" look. The pattern is very subtle, looking as if the fabric had been woven. Definitely reminds you of English villages, and the countryside.
To finish the umbrella, a black leather handle, custion-made for Barrington Brolly, was added.
The finished umbrella provides an overall vision of elegance, and the new owner's fashion sense.
SRP: $150.00
