Item Description
Own a fine art print by world famaous National Geographic Photographer James Blair.
Jim studied at the Institure of Design at the Illinois Institure of Technology in Chicago. As a freelance photographer, Blair has had commissions from teh U.S. Information Agency, Time, and Life magazines. He spent over 30 years on staff at National Geographic. His photographs are represented in the permanent collections of the National Portrail Gallery (Washington DC), the Museum of Modern Art (New York City), the Portland Museum of Art (Maine) and teh Carnegie Museum of Art (Pittsburgh).
Jim and his wife Ellise retired to Middlebury where Ellise still lives.
This print is hand made by Jim himself and was donated to the auction by his wife Ellise.

This print is mounted and framed in a silver metel frame, ready to hang on your wall. The print is 7.5 X 9.5 in a 15 X 17 frame.
In his later years after retirement Jim started a series of nature images, imspired by his life here in Vermont.
