Item Description
Whitebark Pines at Crater Lake National Forest Poster
Take home this beautiful poster of Oregon's very own Crater Lake National Park featuring the wildlife and trees surrounding the lake.
Commissioned in 2007, this poster by Larry Eifert shows the importance of whitebark pines (left and right sides of the painting). These trees are in trouble due to several factors, including an introduced blister rust pathogen, Global Warming, and the pine bark beetle. It’s estimated that most of these beautiful and important trees will be gone from the park’s rim within several decades.
18 inches x 24 inches
