Item Description

Enjoy 5 Nights for Two People In Scotland. Stay is at the Maryculter House on the River Dee in Aberdeen, Scotland, or similar, plus daily breakfast. This package also includes two tours to Dunnottar Castle, Falls of Feugh, Cairngorm National Park and Speyside Whisky Trail.

Hugging the banks of the mighty River Dee with its renowned shinig beats, and overlooking Peterculter Golf Course, Maryculter House has been welcoming guests since the 13th Century. It is perfectly placed to enjoy the many delights that the countryside in the Northeast of Scotland has to offer.

Maryculter House is located just 15 minutes away from Aberdeen city centre, with its vibrant cultural, shopping and nightlife scenes. Enjoy the best of both worlds. Family values run deep through every aspect of our hotel – from our friendly and helpful team members going above and beyond, to the thoughtful wee touches of Scottish hospitality at every turn. Includes Dunnottar Castle, Falls of Feugh and Cairngorm National Park Tour You travel straight from Aberdeen to one of Scotland’s archetypal structures, Dunnottar Castle. It’s a stunning fortress set on a cliff by the sea. It has also seen more battles than you’ve had cups of tea and is an essential Scottish destination.

Your next stop is the Falls of Feugh. These cascading falls are mesmerizing; and if you’re lucky, you may even spot a salmon jumping up the river. It’s now time for lunch in Braemar, a lovely little village with royal connections and plenty of local delicacies to try. You then head to the Muir of Dinnet Nature Reserve and get the opportunity to go for a stroll. Keep your eyes peeled for otters, birds, and adders on this woodland walk. You leave the Cairngorm National Park and arrive in Aberdeen in the early evening.

Then enoy the Speyside Whisky Trail Tour, as you depart Aberdeen. Delve straight into the home of whisky, the Speyside region. First stop in the Speyside Cooperage, you’re learning about whiskey rather than drinking it. After learning about the beautiful oak casks here, you head for lunch at one of our favorite local restaurants. And now you have the chance to try some whisky. Your  rst distillery is Aberlour. This whisky is famously easy to drink for beginners but also has enough depth to impress connoisseurs. You then head to one of the most famous distilleries in the world, Glenfiddich. The huge stills here and classic architecture are exactly what you’d imagine a Scottish distillery to be. But be careful in the shop, there’s always a temptation to buy a £300 whisky here…After this, you have a refreshment stop at Huntly, a quintessential Scottish Highland village. In the evening, you arrive back in Aberdeen, where it’s up to you whether you continue the whisky tasting.
