Most recently, Craig Perry's Practical Pictures produced Lionsgate's Cellar Door, starring Scott Speedman, Jordana Brewster, and Laurence Fishburne, directed by Vaughn Stein, and produced in partnership with Culmination Films. Before that, it produced Universal's Breaking In, starring Gabrielle Union, directed by James McTeigue and produced in partnership with Will Packer Productions. It also produced the hit Australian family comedy Oddball. Nominated for two Australian AACTAs, the film won awards at festivals worldwide.
Upcoming projects include the sixth installment in New Line Cinema's Final Destination franchise, to be directed by Zach Lipovsky & Adam Stein, written by Guy Busick (Scream 6 & 7; Ready Or Not) & Lori Evans Taylor (Bedrest), and produced in partnership with director Jon Watts (the Spider-Man franchise); Constantin Films and FilmNation's White Star, to be directed by Derrick Borte (Unhinged) and produced in partnership with Culmination Films; Entry Level, to be directed by Rick Ostermann and produced in partnership with Culmination Films, 13 Films, and SquareOne; and Finding: Jane Doe, a docudrama series in partnership with Emmy winning director Greg Yaitanes.
Previously, Craig was a partner at Zide/Perry Entertainment. Productions include Universal's American Pie franchise; New Line Cinema's Final Destination franchise; Warner Bros' Cats & Dogs franchise; Sony Pictures' Little Black Book and The Big Hit; and Helkon Media's RepliKate.
Craig also served as Vice President of Development for Scott Rudin Productions, and Director Of Development for Silver Pictures. He was an Associate Producer on The First Wives Club, and developed such films as Rules Of Engagement, Sleepy Hollow, A Simple Plan, The Truman Show, In & Out, Ransom, Clueless, Lethal Weapon 3, Executive Decision, Richie Rich, Demolition Man, and more.
Craig is featured in the feature documentary The Horror Crowd, directed by Ruben Pla and available on Prime Video, AppleTV, iTunes, and Google Play.
Craig was recently an adjunct professor at Syracuse University Los Angeles, teaching the Art and Business of Production. He has guest lectured at USC, UCLA, NYU, UGA, Syracuse University, Towson University, Columbia College, Olympic College, and Pixar. In addition, he has given presentations on production and technology at the 2011 Intel Capital Global Summit, and at MIT in Boston.
