Ambassador James D. Zellerbach founded Hanzell Vineyards in 1953 after he returned from Burgundy, France with a vision to create wines that could compete on the world stage. Named after his wife Hana, Hanzell sits at the southern toe of the Mayacamas mountain range overlooking the southwestern end of Sonoma Valley and San Pablo Bay.
This certificate is for the Hanzell Heritage Tour & Tasting Experience for 6 people.
Enjoy a private walking tour of the cave, production facility and historic Heritage Winery, where you will learn about Hanzell's important role in viticulture and vinification, both past and present. You'll learn the history of this winery, vineyards, grapes and production, and the Hanzell Integrated Farming Institute.
Your experience will conclude with a tasting of four wines, all grown and produced on their certified organic farm. Please allow 90 minutes for this experience.
