The Most Dangerous Game”
What happens when an old weathered predator gets stealthily gamed by the prey? These slippery seals are up to some mischief. If that shark turns around and sees them, no doubt they’ll zip away laughing “Catch me if you can!”
Paulina Zuckerman is an illustrator and ceramicist from Chatham. She grew up fervently exploring the ocean, salt marshes, and pine & oak forests with her adventurous pugs. Paulina’s work whimsically cherishes animals, wildlife, and environments through a variety of mediums including cut paper, ceramics, gouache, colored pencil, and photoshop. She is interested in finding the place where fantastical stories and lessons in children's picture books meet ecology and scientific illustration.
She has an MFA in Illustration & Visual Culture from Washington University St. Louis and a BFA in Ceramics from Maine College of Art, Portland.
Her charismatic way of illustrating makes even the wildest creatures into elegant and fun characters. It is a wonderful pleasure to participate in Chatham’s Art in the Park this year. This shark is sealed with a clear coat varnish but for optimal preservation, is recommended for indoor use only.
