Artist Statement:
In a time of reflection and recovery I explored the expressive capabilities of the gelatin plate, creating 50 prints focusing on textures and colors inspired by the ocean. These prints became over a hundred individual scales tipped in gold and encased in resin, individually placed for 'Upscale Cod'.
Artist Biography:
Jennifer Groeber is an artist, teacher, and mother. With a BA in Art from Yale and and an MFA from MICA, she has been exploring painting, printmaking, and a variety of arts for over thirty years. She lives on the North Shore with her husband and four children. Find her on Instagram @jengroeber

Item Special Note
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 13 from 12-3 and July 14 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
