Artist Statement:
Mixed media is a great opportunity to show expression using all kinds of unique and unexpected materials on projects. Cork, a substance known for its buoyancy is applied to a fish that needs anything but that. It's a fun juxtaposition that takes you further with bright colors and sparkly sequins.
Artist Biography:
Missy Fisher is a local artist, mostly known for her beadwork and jewelry. She has won awards from the Marblehead Festival of Arts and the Marblehead Arts Association, where she was on the Board of Directors and President for 15 years. She occasionally shows her work at artisan shows and exhibitions.

Item Special Note
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 13 from 12-3 and July 14 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
