Artist Statement:
My work is a reflection of my life living near the ocean. I am fascinated by the power of the ocean and I find the medium of glass allows me to stare into the deepest depths of the ocean because the glass itself has translucency, sparkle and dimension similar to the water.
Artist Biography:
Lisa Richardson-Bach worked as an aerospace engineer before finding art to be her passion. Art and her technical background came together when Lisa discovered glass. The color and fluidity of the glass inspire her artistic spirit, and the technical intricacies of glass feed her scientific mind.
