"Roe The Line" by Susan j Schrader

Artist Statement:
Roe The Line was inspired by a jar of copper pellets. They were so beautiful, and I wanted them to form the belly of the cod as a cluster of roe. The copper wire adds elegance to the head of the sculpture. The title plays on the phrase ' tow the line as well as fishing lines, etc.
