Artist Statement:
I once had an extraordinary teacher who ignited in me a love for science and particularly, marine creatures. I began to create drawings and paintings of undersea life. This cod is my latest painting of the unseen, imaginary life of undersea creatures with cods swimming in their beautiful world.
Artist Biography:
Ellie Tomlinson lives and works in Marblehead, MA. She enjoys painting and is an artist member of the Marblehead Arts Association. Ellie holds a B.A. degree from Colby College and, for more than three decades before retiring in 2004, was an art teacher at The Tower School in Marblehead.

Item Special Note
Pick-up of purchased cods will be July 13 from 12-3 and July 14 from 3-6 at Sagan Harborside Sotheby's 1 Essex St, Marblehead. The winning bidder will receive a notification email with information including pick-up time and location.
If the winning bidder requires shipping, their credit card will be charged a separate $35 fee to cover USPS ground and handling. Shipping is available within the U.S. only and must be requested within 7 days after receipt of the notification email.
If the winning bidder has not picked up their cod (or provided shipping address) within 30 days after the close of the auction, the cod will become the property of Marblehead Festival of Arts, Inc.
