Item Description
"The Bloomin' Cod" by Elaine Caliri Daly
Medium: Acrylic
Size: 19" x 8"
Artist Statement:
I said to a friend of mine at the Blue Canoe, 'I gotta do a bloomin' cod'. And she said, 'you gotta do flowers!' So I did.
Artist Biography:
An award-winning painter and graduate of the Massachusetts College of Art, Elaine's watercolors and acrylics avidly illustrate her fluid, impressionistic style in her paintings of sailboats on Marblehead Harbor. She blends the varied colors, the unpredictability of the wind, and the surging sea. She applies her love of the arts to sculpture, music, and tap dancing.
