About Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard

The Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard grew out of Fess’ vision for the promise of Santa Barbara County as a premier viticultural region. Established in 1989, the family immediately began planting some of the country’s most renowned vineyards. Outstanding fruit sources coupled with skilled wine making – in the past decade both Eli Parker and later Blair Fox, were named Winemaker of the Year by the San Francisco International Wine Competition – are at the core of delivering wines of the highest quality to our consumer.

The winery is located on the Foxen Canyon Wine Trail. It is surrounded by pastureland and vineyard with views from the tasting room that take in the majestic San Rafael mountain range. Magnum of 2020 Dragonette Cellars Pinot Noir Wine

The 2020 has begun drinking very well right out of the gate. The wine shows complex red and blue fruits, a touch of minerals, some baking spices, fresh herbs and forest floor in a medium bodied frame and with silky texture. Great natural acidity provides lift and length. We expect a minimum of 8-10 years of aging potential.

Winery owner Doug Margerum has been intimately involved in both food and wine for over 30 years in the Santa Barbara region, making him one of the pioneers in the industry. Margerum works with fruit from our impeccably farmed Estate Vineyard as well as with other top vineyards ranging from the warm, eastern end of the Santa Ynez Valley in Happy Canyon of Santa Barbara to the cool vineyards of the Sta. Rita Hills at the western end of the Santa Ynez Valley to create small production wines with personality and vineyard character.

About Donnachadh Family Wines

Family owned and organically farmed Donnachadh (Donna-ka) Vineyard is situated on Santa Rosa Road in the famed Sta. Rita Hills. It's also the culmination of a dream for owners Laurie and Drew Duncan. After an expansive search they found 285 acre gem in 2013, and planted 40 acres of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Syrah with some Gamay & Grenache.
