Item Description

This is your last chance to grab tickets to Merrily We Roll Along, Stephen Sondheim and George Furth's beloved 1981 musical, which closes on July 7! On June 20, 2024, enjoy two house seats to this "perfectly cast" (The New York Times) staging, and following the performance, join cast member Christian Strange for a meet & greet.

Spanning three decades in the entertainment business, Merrily We Roll Along charts the turbulent relationship between composer Franklin Shepard and his two lifelong friends — writer Mary and lyricist & playwright Charley. An inventive, cult-classic ahead of its time, Merrily We Roll Along features some of Stephen Sondheim’s most celebrated songs including "Old Friends" and "Not A Day Goes By". Off-Broadway, it was a New York Times Critic's Pick, called "perfectly cast". This revival is currently nominated for 7 Tony Awards, including Best Revival of a Musical and Best Direction of a Musical.

Christian Strange, an Irish Rep Company Member most recently featured as Joe in The Butcher Boy, performs in the ensemble of Merrily We Roll Along on Broadway. He previously was a member of the ensemble during the New York Theater Workshop run.

This package is for 2 tickets on June 20, 2024 at 7pm. Merrily We Roll Along is playing at the Hudson Theatre through July 7, 2024.
