Item Description
Attractive deep beige antique chinese soapstone double-vase carving with floral motif and single tiny bird perched near top.The size is: 6.25 inches tall, 7.5 inches wide, 3 inches front to back.Each vase also has floral decorative carving on its surface which adds even more interest to the piece.
There is some orange coloration in places and some black on the bird. The bottom is painted or dyed a coral orange color and has an inscribed number.
Note: Soapstone is a soft material and thus the antique pieces often have minor fractures running through them. The few here do not penetrate the piece nor do they detract from it's beauty. The bottom edge of this piece may have one of two quite small "chips" off (or not).
These areas of possible "imperfection" are not apparent (to me) when the piece is standing upright and, again, do not take away from the overall piece.
