Item Description
Large, pedestal serving bowl in white stoneware with combination satin white and satin black glazes by Len Carella Ceramics. Slab built, high fire reduction ware that is vitrified. Beautiful hand-embossed pattern on the interior highlighted by the grey-black glaze. Beautiful as functional serving bowl or as decoritive objet.

About Len Carella:
Len Carella started working in ceramics in 1998 midway through a 20 year career as a designer of footwear and leather goods.
He currently works full-time from his San Francisco studio creating installation art & sculpture in stoneware, porcelain, leather and small batch functional ware in stoneware & porcelain for home and restaurant use.
