Framed Navajo girl mixed media painting. 26 x 21.5 This painting diplicts a side profile of a modern navajo woman with her hair traditionally tied in a navajo bun. Long hair signifies the root of thought, rain, abundance and rejuvenation of life. When it's tied up the thoughts and prayers are contained within the bun, called tsiiyeel in the Navajo language.
