About the Museum
Founded in 1998 and opened to the public in March 2000, the Museum of Making Music celebrates the accomplishments and impact of the people who make, sell, and use musical instruments and products. It does this through unique exhibitions, vibrant and varied live music performances, and innovative educational programs.

The Museum is a program division of the NAMM Foundation, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and receives operational support from NAMM. Additional revenue is raised through donations from businesses and corporations, government and foundation grants, museum and program admissions, Museum Store sales, special fundraising events such as the annual gala, and memberships.

NAMM, the National Association of Music Merchants, is a not-for-profit association that serves and strengthens the global music products industry. NAMM and its world-famous trade shows serve as a hub for people seeking out the newest innovations in musical products, recording technology, and sound and lighting equipment.

Our Vision
We envision a world in which the joy of making music is a precious element of daily living for everyone; a world in which every child has a deep desire to learn music and a recognized right to be taught; and in which every adult is a passionate champion and defender of that right.

Our Mission
The Museum of Making Music celebrates the people and the products that bring music to our world. Through exhibitions, immersive experiences, programs, and live music, the Museum of Making Music encourages everyone to find—or to recognize—their own place in the world of making music.

Item Special Note

These passes are good for general admission for one person each until 5/25/2025. Not valid for special events. Not redeemable for cash.

Item pick up will be immediately after the concert on May 24th. Items that can be emailed, will be done so in a timely manner after your payment is processed at the completion of the auction. With any unclaimed items on the night of the concert, the bidder will be contacted about shipping or when they will pick up the item at Carlsbad High School Administration office by June 6th.

By bidding on this item, you agree to cover the shipping and handling costs and optional insurance if you would like it to be shipped to you. You will be contacted via email with the cost prior to finalizing payment for the item. Shipping will be by USPS. Carlsbad High School Band Boosters will only ship within the United States.
