Item Description

This experience for two (2) includes:
Private tasting of The Setting Wine at Bacchus Landing
The Rooftop Experience at The Matheson Healdsburg, including a 5-course  tasting menu
3-night weekday stay at Hotel Trio in Healdsburg

The Setting Wine

Enjoy a private tasting of The Setting Wines at Bacchus Landing either in the California sunshine on the beautiful open piazza or in The Setting private cabana.

Established in 2014, The Setting is a collection of luxury wines created by three friends; Jeff Cova, Noah McMahon, and winemaker Jesse Katz. As the first winemaker to make the Forbes “30 under 30” list, Jesse’s experience spans 19 harvests at internationally acclaimed wineries such as Chateau Petrus, Robert Foley, and was a part of the winemaking team at Screaming Eagle. The Setting Wines is a culmination of relationships spanning decades from Napa to Sonoma County, sourcing from some of the most prestigious vineyards both valleys have to offer.

Bacchus Landing

Bacchus Landing is situated at the crossroads of three of Sonoma County’s premier wine regions, and in the heart of Healdsburg. Bacchus is the home of 5 luxury tasting rooms and features its own large open patio where you can sit back and fully enjoy your wine experience. Whether you choose to spend your time in the spacious Setting tasting room, out on the piazza at your own café table, or on the greens with picnic tables, bocce courts, and lawn games, there is plenty of space to relax with your friends and family.

The Matheson Healdsburg Rooftop Experience

Enjoy the sunset on Roof 106 with cocktails and snacks overlooking Healdsburg’s historical plaza with the Best of The Best, 5-course shared tasting menu. The experience also includes a cocktail for each and a bottle of The Setting Sauvignon Blanc for the table.

About The Matheson

The Matheson’s chef and owner, Dustin Valette, pats a concrete corner of the restaurant and opens up a bit about his great-grandfather, “This was where Pépé’s bread oven would have been.”

Honoré Valette, called Pépé by his family, was known for his traditional sourdough and warmth. The French immigrant had another bakery where Chef Valette’s first restaurant Valette, stands now, in downtown Healdsburg. We’ve got some great stories about Honoré. Remind us to tell you over a glass of wine, (or with our signature brandy cocktail).

Hotel Trio Healdsburg

Enjoy a 3-night weekday stay (Sunday-Thursday) in a studio king suite with a sofa bed and kitchenette; includes breakfast for two. Set in the heart of Sonoma County, this new boutique hotel offers travelers the best of both worlds: a hub for exploring wine country and plenty to enjoy footsteps from your door. Amenities include bocce ball, bicycles, fire pits, outdoor pool, and fitness center. The hotel is ideally located one mile from Historic Healdsburg Plaza with a shuttle service, offering farm-to-table dining and shopping. The area boasts hiking trails, kayaking, and hundreds of wineries.
