Item Description
Hedonic Coffee is for people who want to explore the sensory nuances of coffee in the same way we approach wine: as a meditative ritual, an experience of mindfulness, an attentiveness to one's own subjectivity. Most of all, Hedonic is an experience of pleasure.
The founder of Hedonic Coffee, Kim Westerman, aka Mama to Olin (EBSB alum) started her love affair with wine in the early 1990s when she first traveled through Italy, tasting everything from world-class Brunello and Barolo vintages to the rustic local wines of Liguria, Lazio and Sardinia. She got her sommelier certification in 2002 and began writing about travel and wine for Forbes and other publications. At Hedonic, she uses that experience to craft custom coffees that have parallels to wine in aroma and flavor.
Item Special Note
Kim is generously donating a one-year coffee subscription! This subscription includes a different coffee each month — or the same one, if you prefer.
Valued at $300, but it is priceless to enjoy world class coffee crafted by a local, Woman-Owned, Community-Minded business. Happy bidding!
Each month, coffee can be picked up from or delivered to at an agreed-upon local location / address (East Bay Area); or shipped (shipping cost included for locations within the U.S.).
