A Wine & Beer Tasting for TWO at St. Clair Brown + One 750mL Bottle of 2021 Coombsville Estate Syrah and One 750mL Bottle of Vienna Pale Ale

Winning bidder will receive a certificate good for one wine & beer tasting for two (2) people at St. Clair Brown Winery & Brewery in Downtown Napa, plus two 750mL bottles: One 2021 Estate Syrah (Coombsville, Napa Valley) and a locally brewed Vienna Pale Ale.

Tastings take place in our culinary garden surrounded by raised beds and fruit trees. Tastings available by appointment.

2021 Estate Syrah, Coombsville, Napa Valley, 750mL

With this vintage, we pulled from our second Estate Vineyard. The Shearer Estate Vineyard is owned by Elaine St. Clair's parents. Slow to establish because of the rock and shallow topsoil, the vineyard is over 20 years old and is at its prime. Also, in Coombsville, it sits at a slightly higher elevation. A western exposure, the cool Coombsville climate, and rocky volcanic soil all favorably contribute to this wine's structure and full flavor development.

Aromas: cherry, blackberry, currents, plum, black tea, baking spice, and violet

Palate: alluring dark fruit that follows through to the finish with tannins that are prominent but well-integrated

Vienna Pale Ale, 750mL

A lighter-style pale ale, the Vienna is made with predominantly Vienna malt, which adds mid-palate and subtle toast, honey, and nut flavors. This beer is smooth and malty with a citrusy, floral hop character in the aroma and finish. --Winemaker/Brewmaster Elaine St. Clair

Flavors: biscuit, orange blossom, Meyer lemon, green tea and elderberry.

Bidder must be at least 21 years old.

Winning bidders located in Northern California may pick up their items in Napa at a location and date to be arranged -- details will be emailed to winning bidders. Items not picked up by March 10, 2023, will be mailed to the winning bidder, and purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs.

Items purchased by bidders residing outside of Northern California will be shipped (if possible) on or around Tuesday, February 7, 2023, unless you tell us that you wish to pick up your item. Purchaser is responsible for shipping and insurance costs. Please contact us at sbspcauction@gmail.com by February 6 if you plan to pick up your auction winnings.
