Item Description
Olde Bowl
Handcrafted Light Green Celadon Bowl by Pat White, Kauai. Measures 7 1/2" x 2 1/2". Made with soldate clay.
This elegant light green bowl with a unique pattern with a beautiful pattern on the inside waiting to be filled with the colors and flavors of life. Its simple form is a testament to its versatility, while its smooth surface invites the touch of human hands.
Imagine the possibilities: a bowl of morning oatmeal, warm and comforting; a bowl of fresh fruit salad, bursting with color and flavor; a bowl of soup, nourishing and restorative. This bowl is ready to be a part of your daily rituals.
Its simple yet elegant design will complement any décor, from modern to traditional. It is also a reminder of the beauty of the simple things in life.
Long time ceramicist Pat White has been at her craft for longer than she would like to admit. Her interest in wheel throwing, hand building and sculpting clay has never diminished, always finding each piece an interesting creative challenge. Her well crafted pieces are elegant and light. Both as art pieces to admire or used as bowls to enjoy a meal, her work will be a welcomed addition to any collection.
At 85 years young, Pat is an avid bicyclist who averages almost 100 miles a week. Traversing the roads all over Kauai and beyond, a favorite route is the Shimanami Kaido which crosses seven bridges connecting Honshu and Shikoku Islands in Japan.
