Item Description

"Kukailimoku" is a Ku tiki hand carved by woodworker Norman Tochiki. Ku, one of the four great gods in Hawaiian religion oversees war, politics, fishing and farming. Original statue representations of Kukailimoku were fashioned with feathers and animal teeth. In this striking koa wood carving, Mr. Tochiki captures the essence of the powerful force of Ku.

The tiki was created from Koa wood in 2023 and measures 4' x 4' x 10".
