This is a fine art print on metal by local artist Carol Meckling. The colorful abstract perhaps evokes a memory of ancient Hawaiian petroglyphs that the viewer may have encountered in a few hidden locations around the islands. The blue/grey sky surmounts the colorful lava rocks and petroglyphs that are continually bathed by the turquoise surf. This striking work would be a welcome addition to anyone's art collection.
The fine image has been printed on metal and mounted on bamboo. The work measures 10"x 10".
Carol Meckling, a Kauai artist and gallery owner, is a fine art painter who strives to capture through her art the unique aliveness she experiences every day living on Kaua'i. Creating art that reignites your awe for the natural world. Carol's art helps you remember your own divine nature by connecting you with the ocean and all its creatures, the land, Hawaiian culture and the spirit of ALOHA.
