This item is a $500 Gift Certificate for Mountain Camp Woodside's Day Camp or Resident Camp (sleep-away) program for Session 2B for the 2023 (July 3-7, 2023) or 2024 (likely July 1-5, 2024) summer. Mountain Camp Woodside is a co-ed summer camp that offers both a sleep-away Resident Camp (for grades 2nd -- 10th) and a Day Camp (for grades K-10th) program and is nestled in the heart of beautiful Portola Valley, California on the 63-acre campus of the Woodside Priory School. Mountain Camp Woodside's minimal technology, non-competitive program is designed to build confidence and independence, encourage friendships and healthy lifestyle choices and other 21st century skills. We offer activities like mountain biking, arts & crafts, soccer, swimming, archery and outdoor survival. In today's hectic, high-tech world, we believe a back-to-basics approach to outdoor recreation and plain ol' fashion "fun" is critical to building a child's positive self-image. A quality summer camp experience will provide education, challenge, achievement, and acceptance. Mountain Camp Woodside's unique atmosphere allows children to learn in a fun and safe environment that encourages independence while nurturing lasting friendships. From campfire songs and skits to the first time away from home, the camp experience can have a profound impact on a child's development. Mountain Camp Woodside is accredited by the American Camp Association (www.acacamps.org) and is a member of the Western Association of Independent Camps (www.waic.org).
