Item Description

This complete Bird Feeder Kit comes with all the things you need to have lots of happy backyard birds:

·      a SquirrelBuster Classic Wild Bird Feeder

·      5 lb. of black oil sunflower seeds for the birds to eat

·      a galvanized steel locking storage can for storing the birdseed

·      the Peterson Field Guide to Birds of Eastern and Central North America by Roger Tory Peterson

·      a lovely tea towel featuring cardinals.

The SquirrelBuster Classic Wild Bird Feeder keeps squirrels out of the birdseed to eliminate food loss due to pilfering. Openings in the wire mesh shroud around the feed tube align with seed ports, providing birds access to the seeds. When a squirrel jumps onto the feeder, its weight automatically forces the shroud down, closing access to the seed ports. The squirrels are foiled, but not harmed in any way.

Birds love black oil sunflower seeds because they are meatier and have a higher oil content than other sunflower seeds, giving the birds more nutrition in every bite.

The galvanized steel storage can for the bird seed keeps the seed dry and keeps rodents out of the birdseed.

With lots of happy birds in your backyard, you will want to see what kinds of birds are coming to eat. Use this Peterson Field Guide to Birds of Eastern and Central North America to identify finches, chickadees, woodpeckers, cardinals, nuthatches, grosbeaks, tufted titmice, sparrows, blue jays, and more.

The tea towel with bright red cardinals give this gift a real Christmas-y look and feel!
