Item Description
Wm. B. Tennison is a nine-log sailing bugeye hull converted to powered buy-boat, official number 081674. She is home ported at Back Creek, Solomons Harbor, Solomons, Calvert County, Maryland. Her wide beam and shoal draft, typical of the bugeye type, is ideally suited for oyster dredging on the shallow waters of the Chesapeake Bay. This print is 18 x 27.5. About the Artist: Neil Harpe Neil was born in Annapolis, Maryland, where he grew up along the creeks and backwater marshes of the Chesapeake Bay, the region where his family has lived for generations. Swimming, crabbing, fishing and watching watermen at their daily activities were a part of his childhood and fostered an early love of nature and the sea.
