Item Description
A vertical of 3 vintages (2014, 2015, and 2016) of Rotie Cellars "Dre". The "Dre" is made exclusively in years when the growing season is long and hot, ideal for Mourvdre. These warmer vintages produce a structured and expressive wine with loads of complexity. Sourced from the Benches of the Wallula vineyard. The 1.44-acre block is nicknamed the Boomerang Block, as it juts out like its namesake 1000' above the Columbia River. The grape skins are tight and small because of the high winds, And the acid is in check due to the elevation and river influence. We get massive fruit concentration from the clusters baking in the sun all day. Rotie Cellars is one of Washington State's top producers of Rhone varietals. Included with the vertical is a wine tasting for up to 6 at Rotie Cellars Seattle (SoDo district) tasting room.
