Item Description
Domaine Chante Cigale (Chante Cigale means singing cicada) is one of my favorite wines from the Chateauneuf du Pape region, and today is your unique opportunity to try two bottles of this fine blend. The 2016 vintage should be shared with friends and/or family and a perfect match with lamb, smoked meats or dishes cooked with wild mushroom. This 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Vieilles Vignes is a blend of 80% Grenache, 15% Syrah and 5% Mourvdre. Aged in a combination of tanks and older barriques, it shows some smoky notes on the nose, with hints of garrigue, cherries and stone fruit. Full-bodied, rich and velvety on the palate, it closes with more fruit than spice. Two bottles of the Domaine Chante Cigale, Vieilles Vignes, 2016 are up for grab! Rated 4.3/5 on Vivino
