Great workouts, beautiful views, amazing friendships. 22 years of teaching adult rowers! Designed for individuals that have little to no rowing experience or background, the famous Lake Union Crew Learn to Row program is offered year round. This 4-week experience includes: Fun and fitness on the water, rain or shine. Indoor training instruction on the ergometer (indoor rowing machine). Boat handling, launching, and maneuvering. Breakdown of the rowing stroke and expert tips on improving your technique. Well experienced coaching, 3 sessions per week, Mornings MWF 8-9:30 or T/Th evening 6:30-8 and Sat morning 9:30-11. At the conclusion of the Learn to Row program, youll be fully prepared to enter into one of our many year-around morning or evening programs to continue your training. You'll be able to mix and match your sessions to suit your schedule and get on the water as much as you want! Further, you'll have learned everything you need to know to get a full body workout each and every time you set foot in the boat. And best of all, because you are on the water and surrounded by a team of new, interesting people, you'll be motivated (dare we say thrilled!) to attend as much as you can, helping you achieve your fitness goals. Whatever your reason for wanting to row, Lake Union Crew offers a positive and unique experience that you are not likely to forget. Learn to Row classes are offered to fully vaccinated people only right now. Gift certificates have no expiration date.
