Item Description
Gabe Nabers #40 Los Angeles Chargers wore these cleats during the 2021 Season, "My Cause My Cleats". This year NubAbility will be highlighted during the NFL's 'My Cause My Cleats' initiative. Featuring the "Who Said You Can't" logo and his All Sports Nike swoosh, Gabe Nabers is more than a supporter of the national nonprofit organization. He is family.
The NubAbility cleats were worn during week 13 vs. Cleveland Browns by Los Angles Chargers Fullback Gabe Nabers. His little brother, Zach Nabers, was a NubAbility athlete who played college basketball and now coaches.
The NubAbility Athletics Foundation exists to encourage, inspire, instruct limb different youth (congenital or traumatic amputees).
The 'My Cleats My Cause' initiative works to highlight organizations important to each player, including mental health, youth causes, and cancer awareness. Players wear special cleats with designs for individual organizations.
Those cleats are then auctioned off, after being worn, and the money raised is given to the highlighted organization.
These cleats have been donated by Gabe to be auctioned off Nationally on Friday July, 15th, 2022 during the NubAbility Game Changer Benefit in honor of his brother who is coaching basketball at the camp for kids with limb-differences held at the same time. The cleats will be autographed and authenticated once the winning bidder is selected.
- This item is on the LIVE AUCTION Line-up for IN-HOUSE bidding on July 15th at 8:15pm. Before online bidding closes at 8:00pm on this item, you will need to place your MAXIMUM bid. Our HOUSE BIDDER will then bid for you.
- If no-one in house outbids the last bid you made (Not your MAX bid), you automatically WIN the item once the auctioneer deems it as sold.
- IF someone from the LIVE audience bids over your last bid entered, then the house will bid for you up to your MAXIMUM inputted bid. The Auctioneer determines the dollar amount of the bidding increments. You will receive a notification email or text informing you were the winning bidder or not by 11:00pm CST on July 15th.
If unable to pick up locally, shipping and handling of this item will be charged to the winning donor by our third party shipping vendor, Postal Pal in Anna, IL BY AN EMAILED SHIPPING INVOICE 5-10 days after the Game Changer Auction.
Once you have paid the Postal Pal invoice, they will then insure and professionally package and ship your item.
The winning donor must pay the invoice by the due date (30 DAYS) or that item becomes the property of Postal Pal.
