Item Description
Peggy Chun made a goal each day to create something beautiful.
While at the height of her career as one of Hawaii's most beloved artists, Peggy was diagnosed with ALS in 2002. As her disease progressed, she lost the ability to paint with her hands, so she would use her mouth. Once she could no longer do that, she would use a computer program to read her eye movements.
Peggy never stopped painting and wrote on her website, "After all, you don't paint with your hands, you paint with your heart".
This piece captures the two essential elements that make life in Hawaii what it is -flowers and song- a combination of fragrant beauty and glorious melody.
Item Special Note
The dimensions of this framed piece is 16" x 13 1/2" x 1"
