Item Description
The piece has a story from the Live Oak school site that may be of interest to those that like that sort of thing.
Ed Whittlesey artfully removed the vintage water tower from the school site in 1995. In 2015 some of the redwood that came from the tower came to me. From that wood a few mirrors were created. The frame is finished with organic hard oil then hand rubbed with bee’s wax.
The design of the piece I would like to donate was inspired by windows from the Buddhist Monastery and Capital of Lhasa, Tibet.
Handmade and donated by Steven and Robyn Kleinhans
