Item Description
This lovely "Blue Danube" pattern china dates from the 1940's and was made by the Rosenthal Company in Selb, Germany. Some of the pieces are marked "U.S. Zone", indicating they were manufactured after the war, under U.S. occupation.
This collection of Blue Danube includes:
- 12 Dinner Plates (10")
- 10 Salad Plates (7 1/2")
- 3 Sauce Dishes (5")
- 12 Dessert Plates (6")
- 6 Footed Tea Cups (4" diameter, 2" high) 1 cup has small chip at the foot
- 8 Saucers (5 3/4")
- 6 Soup Bowls (8" diameter, 1 1/2" high)
The china is in very good, used vintage condition. Other than the one piece mentioned above there are no chips or cracks.

Price is based on in-person item pickup.
Winning bidder will receive this item on April 29th at the Auction 2022 gala if in attendance.
If not attending the gala, winning bidder may pickup their item at the NRWA River Resource Center at 592 Main Street in Groton the first week in May. Shipping is not available on this items; pickup only.
