Item Description
Barred Owls like to nest in a hollow cavity of a large tree, but such a home is not always easily located. They will readily settle in nest boxes supplied by you. So give an owl a home! Encourage this beautiful creature to nest where you choose to place your nest box. They prey almost exclusively on small rodents and rarely bother livestock or pets. No food is required to keep them coming back to the home you have set up for them. A little research will tell you if your property is suitable to attracting the Barred Owl.
Nest Box is newly built, no previous tenants. Approximately 13" wide x 24" high.

If not attending the gala, winning bidder may pickup their item at the NRWA River Resource Center at 592 Main Street in Groton the first week in May. Shipping is not available for this item; pick up only.
