The AAA Red Sox Affiliate has moved from Pawtucket to Worcester, and the pandemic prevented the PawSox from one last season at McCoy Stadium. Minor league baseball fans will enjoy this commemorative set of items: PawSox Hat, a History in Pictures Book, and a Stadium Replica.
Among McCoy stadium's claims to fame are the location of the longest game in professional baseball history; a 33-inning contest between the PawSox and the Rochester Red Wings, 32 innings of which were played April 18 -19, and concluded on June 23, 1981.
