Item Description
Bid on a Blue Electric Guitar, packed in a soft case and Four Guitar Lessons with roots and blues artist BJ Magoon. The guitar is a beautiful beginner level electric guitar, professionally set up by luthier, Steve Morrill. The guitar lessons may be virtual or live, at a mutually agreed time and location.
BJ Magoon grew up in Acton and has been performing since his teens with the likes of Luther "Georgia Boy" Johnson, Muddy Waters, and James Cotton. Magoon formed the group Driving Sideways in the mid 80's with a repertoire of Blues, Roots, Country Rock, Swing and Soul with an emphasis on the groove. Over the years, he has opened up for many of the great blues players, hosted the radio show "Blues on the Ceiling" and hosted the "Thursday Night Blues Jam" at the Acton Jazz Cafe.

Winning bidder will receive this item on April 29th at the Auction 2022 gala if in attendance.
If not attending the gala, winning bidder may pickup their item at the NRWA River Resource Center at 592 Main Street in Groton the first week in May. Shipping is not available for this item; pickup only.
