Item Description
This 8" silverplated Paul Revere bowl is a vintage item, manufactured in the U.S. circa 1980, but in new condition and never used. Item is in original packaging. A clear liner is included.
Reproduction bowl is patterned after the original, hand-crafted by Paul Revere in 1768. The original “Liberty Bowl” was engraved with the names of fifteen members of the Sons of Liberty who commissioned it to celebrate the vote by the Massachusetts Assembly to disobey the king and not rescind a letter that was sent to protest against “taxation without representation." The Sons of Liberty used the bowl to hold their rum at meetings. The iconic bowl endures in reproduction by many manufacturers, across many years, to serve many purposes.
