Item Description
The Blue Wave is an exquisite hand-painted piece that can go anywhere in your home. It will brighten your day any time you pass it by, bringing a smile to your face. Pam White, the artist who created this piece has been living in the Lowcountry for 10 years. The unpredictability of encaustic medium is a constant inspiration for Pam to push her limits. Painting with encaustic wax, resin, pigment, rabbit skin glue, and marble powder allows her the flexibility of deep texture but also the drama of translucency. This piece needs to be seen and touched in person to fully appreciate the depths. It will be on display at Poseidon on April 1 at 6 p.m. during the Memory Matters Culinary Showcase.
Pam appreciates the sunrise, the beaches, and the continued ebb and flow of the tide. The depth, yet translucency of the crashing waves is a constant intrigue.
This painting measures 30x24 on canvas.
This will be part of the live auction at Memory Matters spring Culinary Showcase at Poseidon on April 1. Tickets to the event can be purchased at www.mymemorymatters.org.
