Item Description
One (1) group training class (puppies, adloscents or adult). Each group class consists of 6 sessions at Woof Academy.
Woof Academy offers Puppy, Adolescent, and Adult Group Training Classes. There is also a Canine Good Citizenshipo Certification Class that is offered. Each Group Class is 6 sessions long and are heavy into desensitizing your dog to their world by adding lots of stimiuluis to the training envioronment. That includes other dogs and people. Dogs that are perfect for group training are those that are overly excitable, fearful, or mildly reactive. Group class will help you help your pup follow your lead in stimulated situations by setting clear rules and boundaries.
All of our training classes are held here at our beautiful Encinitas facility with an over half-acre shaded training yard designed for safety and an ideal environment to train your pup. Our training curriculum has been developed over years by well renown local trainer Pamela Chandler, one of the owners of the Woof Academy.
My 15+ years of hands on experience working with thousands of dogs and a significant range of behaviors has taught me one very valuable insight into how to train your dog. It is vital that the dog makes the decision to do what you tell them to do without being forced. The most effective way to do that is to find what is important to the dog….to really understand the dog’s thought pattern and perspective. Once you do that, you can easily put your dog to work for what they want. This makes you the leader in your dog’s mind and THAT is a game changer.
