Item Description
Winner receives a round of golf for four at the beautiful and historic Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club at the edge of the water along the beautiful Connecticut shoreline. Round will be scheduled at a mutually agreed upon time pursuant to club rules.
Pine Orchard Yacht & Country Club sports a scenic 9-hole golf course on its 82 acre seashore property with different tees for the front and back nines and some holes being a par 3 on the front and a par four/five on the back. Players of all skill levels find satisfaction on this Club's greens.
The terrain runs from hilly and wooded with sand and grass bunkers, areas of fescue, granite outcroppings, significant tidal marsh, a creek with cart and pedestrian bridges - not to mention the two shots you have to make across a local road - our modest course presents numerous challenges.
POYCC is rated with a slope of 131, grading at 71.8 and approximately 6400 yards of 18-hole play. The Front 9 is 3150 yards, the Back 9 is 3262 yards.
Walkers are allowed and there are electric rental carts available. In the busy season, carts may be required to keep players moving along.
Winner will be responsible for following all POYCC rules and regulations including, but not limited to, dress codes. Details can be found at https://www.poycc.org/Guest.
