Item Description
Farrella Vineyards Red Wine Duo: 2016 Coombsville Merlot + 2018 Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon - 2 Bottles
Farella 2016 Coombsville Merlot: Upon opening, you are washed away with aromas of wild blackberry, with some plum and cassis. There is a classic Farella savoriness, earth and spice that will develop and become more prominent with age. The finish is smooth and balanced and we are absolutely stunned by this vintage. While this wine is tightly knit upon release, it is excellently structured for aging and will mature into a beautiful, medium-bodied classic.
Farella 2018 Coombsville Cabernet Sauvignon: Powerfully broad-shouldered, this wine is soft and supple on the palate, with a fleshy quality that appeals. Earthy clove, cedar and pencil shavings provide a savory context against which elements of red and black currant, cassis and oak get to play. The structure of this wine will support cellaring; enjoy best from 2025 through 2028.
