Item Description
A late donation to the auction, a beautiful authentic vintage Ferragamo signed silk couture scarf with his signature design of a goose and cranes within a patchwork of flowers. Provenance-The previous owner was well known for her signature collection of Ferragamo animal scarves, and this donation came from the family.
Ferragamo started making these signature design animal scarves in 1971. We believe this is from the last quarter of the 20th century, as this design was made from 1971 for 20 years. Ferragamo silk scarves sell for $410.00 new.
The scarf features a black border with a cream center, and flowers and foliage in rose, white yellow, gold and green colors, so it will coordinate with any outfit.
This scarf appears to be in good condition, with a few minor spots. It has recently been dry cleaned. There are no rips or tears. Please contact us if you have questions.
Made in Italy by Salvatore Ferragamo. Size-approximately 35 inches high by 33 inches wide
This scarf would be a special present for someone who enjoys scarves, to drape around their neck or shoulders, or to tie on their head or on a hand bag.
