Item Description
If you or someone you know likes to fish, or just appreciates carved wood art, a beautiful original hand-carved and hand-painted striped bass wood carving by very well known Cape Cod wildlife woodcarver, Mike Harnett. It has been gesso primed and painted with acrylic and polyurethane finish. Hanging hardware is attached.
A wonderful and original piece of art that would make a great gift, or a unique wall hanging.
Signed to reverse of carving.
Size 24.5 inches long x 11 inches high fin to fin.
Michael R. Harnett has won first and second place ribbons in juried carving shows in New York, New Jersey and Massachusetts. He formerly worked in the exhibit department at the Museum of Natural History in New York City and now also conducts workshop carving exhibits at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History.
