Richly patterned with vines and leaves, our stylish bag takes its inspiration from an extraordinary American quilt (ca. 1875) in The Met collection, which was originally made by Ernestine Eberhardt Zaumseil (American, born Germany, 1828-1904). It bears the Tree of Life pattern, a popular bedcover design since the seventeenth century.
