Item Description
Great egrets are one of the most beautiful birds on the river, and I suspect this was a mating pair. I saw them just off shore at Masquasatch Point on the East Branch of the Westport River in 2015, caught in the beautiful, warm glow of a summer sunrise. This is an excellent feeding spot for them, and not too far away is a rookery. Mounted Photograph by Greg Stone. 16”x20”
