Item Description
Westport Point, January 2015. This is a favorite natural phenomenon. That rosy glow is called the "Belt of Venus", and the rich blue band beneath it is the shadow of the earth. To see both, start looking to the west ten minutes before sunrise - which is about when this picture was made - or to the east abut five minutes after sunset. Mounted photograph by Greg Stone. 16" x 20"
