Item Description
Adoption of Lola, a 13-foot great white shark
Value: $250
Individual white sharks are easily identified by their body patterns, especially the markings along the sides of their faces and at the base of their pectoral fins.
Lola was photographed at Guadalupe Island. It is thought that females have restricted geographic movement patterns and visit the island every two years. Because we don’t know if Lola will be seen again, this is considered a symbolic adoption. But, if a sighting of Lola is reported, we will notify her guardians. The winning bidder will receive an Adoption Certificate and an 8" x 10" photograph of Lola.
