Item Description

Ms. Deborah Kim received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the USC Thornton School of Music and her Master of Music from the New England Conservatory of Music studying under Alice Schoenfeld, Eudice Shapiro, Paul Kantor, Robert Koff, and with Dorothy Delay of Juilliard at the Aspen Summer Music Festival. Highlights of Ms. Kim’s appearances have included solo performances at the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles, Ebell Theatre, and Zipper Hall. Ms. Kim has been concertmaster of the Los Angeles Camerata Orchestra, the Los Angeles Dream Orchestra, the Huntington Beach Symphony, and the Brentwood Westwood Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Kim has been invited to coach at various summer festivals including the Montecito Music Festival and the New Cranes Festival in Beijing. She has been on the faculty of Junior Chamber Music of Orange County for 10 years and she has been on the panel of judges for numerous music competitions. Ms. Kim has been teaching privately for over 25 years where her students have placed in many competitions and have been accepted to top music schools such as USC, NEC, Berklee College of Music, and Juilliard. Ms. Kim was president of the Brentwood Symphony Orchestra for 5 years.

3 Private Violin lessons, 45 minutes each for beginner, intermediate or advanced.  Violin provided for the duration of the lessons.
